We love our outdoor activities in the Upper Murray. The range of sports and activities available here is fantastic. The opportunity to participate in these activities is a large part of why many of us love to live in the Upper Murray.

Premier trout streams, like the Swampy Plains River (pictured here) near the Geehi Rest Area in the Kosciuszko National Park, in the Upper Murray region provide great fly fishing opportunities.

The hardest part about camping in the Upper Murray is selecting where to go when there are so many choices.
Do you want to be beside a creek or Murray River, beside a reservoir, somewhere near a town in a serviced park or somewhere more secluded in the mountains?

Each of these venues creates a different experience so if you like camping then choose a different place each time you come to our part of the magnificent Australian high country.
